Our history
From yesterday to today
1977
The company was founded in 1977, more specifically on September 12th where it all began with 2 garage doors and a great availability of serving our clientele.
1980
We were approached by Mack to become a part and service dealership. A turning point for all upcoming decisions.
1987
Techno Diesel clearly identifies its mission. From this moment we abandon the repair of loaders, graders and various equipment to focus on heavy vehicles - classes 6, 7 and 8.
1995
We set up several agreements to become a part and service dealership for Freightliner, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel and Cummins. Wow, what an incredible support and skill development !
1997
Time has come for a major expansion. We double the repair area, passing from 6 to 13 mechanical work bays.
1998
A single program called Bonne Route is now developed in Quebec, which will become Techno Route Plus.
This program enables us to offer turnkey packages to clients facing the management of their fleet related to the law 430 which becomes effective.
2002
Another expansion is now required to provide more storage space, improve our capacity and offer faster service. Also, we settle in brand new administrative offices.
2005
Our suspension department can benefit from new facilities. Our 5 mechanical work bays allow us to serve customers in a very specific field of expertise.
2011
Early in the year, we acquire Chevrette Réparation, a center that specializes in welding and repair of trailers. New services are now offered.
2011
A new expansion is still needed for storing parts. We take advantage of this situation for joining our machining department to the suspension department and to optimize our storage space on the mechanical side.
2013
This year is marked by the beginning of a new era. A new executive director takes place to pursue the vision and the company’s development.
2013
Our desire to provide the widest range of products and services to our customers, heavy vehicle owners, encourages us to face a new challenge.
We buy equipment and begin the manufacturing and repair of watertight and wick tarps.
2015
Due to the success with the manufacturing and repair of tarpaulins, we officially name our manufactured products TechnoFlex. Later on, we ventured into distribution throughout Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes.
2016
To serve you even better, another major expansion takes place to finally unite all our teams.
Thus, a new garage was built at Techno Diesel to greet the team of Chevrette Réparation and the tarpaulin department. We are now all together to offer you under one roof, our wide range of services.
2017
Techno Diesel celebrated its 40th anniversary on September 12, 2017.
In February, Techno Diesel added to its service offering a manufacturing department. Watertight tarpaulins for trailers are now made on the premises and Technoflex is created.
